The products named in the checklist are the ones from a maintenance plan followed on a real Quebec lawn. They are given as examples: other brands or formats may work just as well.

Before buying or applying anything, read the label and follow the manufacturer's specifications for quantities, application and precautions. Pesticide and herbicide use on lawns is regulated in Quebec, and some municipalities restrict it further: check what is allowed where you live. The herbicides and the grub insecticide in the checklist were checked against the biopesticide list and the banned pesticides list published by the Quebec government.
